How do you choose your camping holiday?

Not sure where to go? It has to be said – at Yelloh! Village, there’s plenty of choice! Here’s a list of points that can help you find the ideal campsite for your next holiday with the family, just the two of you, or with friends:

• The type of campsite you’re looking for: a real holiday club, a smaller and cosier campsite, one that’s ideal for children, one by the water... Decide on the kind of environment in which you’d like to stay.
• Adapt your choice depending on the length of stay. For a shorter holiday, it’s best to pick somewhere not too far away. That way, you won’t waste too much time travelling. For a weekend getaway, opt for a campsite near home. If, on the other hand, you’re taking a longer break, treat yourself and explore somewhere further away.
• Want to do as little as possible? We understand! Some of our campsites have half-board offers. Also good to know: with accommodation, the end-of-stay cleaning is included! For other ranges, cleaning is not automatically included but you can add the service as an option!
• Keen to really chill out? Choose a campsite with a wellness area, balneo facilities or a real spa centre! Indulge in a massage and/or treatment then unwind in the hammam, sauna or in the water. Will it be the hydromassage bath or the whirlpool for you?
• Would you like to bring your pet? Some Yelloh! Village accept dogs, either in the outdoor spaces or in the accommodation, or across the whole site.

Which region should you choose for your holiday?

With more than 90 campsites in France, Spain and Portugal, there are so many beautiful regions waiting to be explored. To be sure of making the right choice, you can again consider a few points.

• Decide on your preferred landscape: the sea, the ocean, the mountains, beside a river or in the countryside... When you know the type of destination you want, you can narrow down your search.
• The season in which you take your holiday will also influence your choice. If it’s summer, there’s a multitude of possibilities, while the Mediterranean climate is popular when temperatures are cooler. Likewise a holiday in the mountains for ski lovers! With Yelloh! If you’re thinking of trying out a host of different activities, and not just passing your time on the beach, a campsite a little further from the shore is a good solution. Finally, if you like changing scenery within just a few miles, head to one of the regions that lies between sea and mountains such as Provence, Catalonia or Languedoc.
