Children at Yelloh! Village Berrua

During the April holidays and in July and August, the campsite welcomes your youngsters to the Kids Club, Juniors Club and Teens Club to make sure they have the best of summers in the Basque Country. Every week, a variety of activities is on offer, specially chosen to suit their age.

Creative workshops, outdoor activities, games at the pool and treasure hunts... There’ll never be a dull minute for your little ones!

The Kids and Juniors Clubs are open in July and August, from 10am to 12 midday and from 3pm to 5pm.

The Teens Club is open in July and August, from 3pm to 5pm. There’s also a party evening for them once a week.

French April holidays: All clubs are open at the same times as July/August.

To make sure your family holiday in the Basque Country is a sparkling success, the Berrua campsite offers a range of activities you can all enjoy together. There’s a playground for the children, a multisports ground, ping-pong tables, fronton, pétanque courts... In low season, you'll find a family atmosphere, with daily entertainment for young and old alike. In high season, from July to August, the programme of activities is even more exciting, with elaborate and unusual events, as well as daily themed evenings. Everything you need for some fun times together.

Or why not grab all the family and try out the traditional sport of Basque pelota as we even have a fronton (or wall) where you can play? So grab your chistera glove and hit the ball to the wall!

During your camping holiday in the Basque Country, you’re sure to do at least a little sport... in or on the water! That’s because Yelloh! Village Berrua lies on the coast, so water-based activities are hugely popular.

On-site, as well as swimming, you can join in an aquagym session to get your day off to an energetic start. Then head to the ocean for even more excitement with surfing, diving, stand-up paddleboarding, jet skiing, sailing or sea fishing... You won’t know where to start!

There’s also plenty to do in the Pyrenees, where you can go rafting or canyoning. Combine discovery of the mountains with team spirit and adrenalin!

A holiday in the Basque Country is sure to fill you with wonder. Whether in the mountains or by the water, the region boasts some real picture-postcard landscapes.

Take a trip out to discover the natural treasures and authentic Basque villages. On a bicycle or on foot, there are many waymarked paths for a safe way to explore the area’s most beautiful sites.

There’s the coastal trail, La Rhune (or Larrun), the beachfront, the Mount Mondarrain and the cycle path linking Bidart to Biarritz... the most difficult thing will be choosing!

Good to know: the campsite staff organise guided tours of Bidart and the surrounding area. If you’re interested, you can sign up at reception.
