The bathing area at the Domaine Les Oréades campsite

The Landes department is bursting with natural treasures. Among the most beautiful places to discover in the Landes, the lakes are truly outstanding. And the Domaine les Oréades campsite benefits from an exceptional location, facing Lake Cazaux-Sanguinet and Caton beach in particular. The idyllic decor makes this a dream spot for a dip. Sporty holidaymakers will also be in their element here because the lake is the perfect setting for a range of watersports. Try stand-up paddleboarding, a Hawaiian-style pirogue or regular canoe, windsurfing or sailing and spend a fun-packed afternoon on site! You can also enjoy the well-known Biscarrosse and Parentis lake, just a 20-minute drive from Yelloh! Village Domaine Les Oréades. There too, you can stretch out on the sand and bask in the sun while you admire the spectacular view. Then head for the water where there is, once again, a host of activities on offer. Try e-surfing, for example, or water skiing, aquabiking and even fun tubing for guaranteed thrills and spills!

Finally, the lakes are also surrounded by some attractive paths, ideal for some lovely hikes and bike rides.

For a change of bathing spot, head for the campsite’s water park with its outdoor and covered swimming pools, balneo pool and solarium terrace, perfect for some real relaxation. Whatever the weather!

Meanwhile, your children can splash around in the paddling pool and have a whale of a time in the aquatic playground. Fancy getting the morning off to a refreshing start? Then join in the aquagym sessions to kick-start your day while savouring all the benefits of the water!

Practical information: loose-fitting bathing shorts are prohibited throughout the water park. Also note that the balneo area is reserved for adults.

Opening times: the water park is open from 10am to 6pm in low season, and from 10am to 8pm in July & August.

Head to Biscarrosse where, as well as in the lake, you can take a dip in the Atlantic and enjoy the warm sand and waves.
