We stayed on a premium pitch with private facilities for three nights and thought it was very good value (in September). The private facility was presented very well and was immaculate. It was the first time we had used such a pitch and we were impressed. The size of the plot was also generous. The only slight negative was the lack of electric lighting in the covered seating area and think the addition of this would improve the experience further for use in the evenings. We didn’t use all the facilities but the covered pool was a good experience. The reception staff were particularly polite and helpful and happy to converse with us in English. We would be happy to return to this site as it is well located for visiting the area and with easy access directly to a beach.

Warm welcome from the site staff on arrival and they were very helpful throughout our stay. We found the accommodation comfortable and well equipped. Good outside facilities, but the location of our chalet (100) was in the shade during the afternoon and evening. We struggled with the plancha barbecue and could not get it to light. One of the staff explained how to use this the next day, but some written instructions would have been useful at the time (we had missed a small button under the gas regulator). The pool area was very good, however it was a pity that the pool bar was not open at all, particularly as there were many guests in the pool area at weekends. Overall, we had a very enjoyable and relaxing time and would both return and recommend the site to others.

Campsite was fine, need to mention that the site is quite hilly with all the facilitesd being at its highest point. Outdoor pool was probably the worst we have stayed at as it was so small; unsure though how you could change that again due to the landscape they are working with. However, we did have a very relaxing time, staff were excellent.

Super staff in the bar, at reception and the technicians. We enjoyed eating at the bar - the food has improved massively and is no highly recommended. The campsite is well-located for all the key places and the bus service is very reliable. The cottage now needs a little updating - the fridge and the plumbing of both sinks should be replaced. Apart from that, as always a super stay at Camping Ilbarritz. The staff are superb.

The site was spotless, and staff very warm and welcoming. The plots were a little tight (premium camping), but the toilet, wash facility on the plot was amazing. A premium plot should come with running water to the caravan which was not clearly obvious as to where it was and we fould out the location two days before leaving. We didnit ask but shouldn't need to. Entertainment on the site was the worst of all yelloh villages we have stayed at. The food i the restaurant and takeaway was very very expensive for what it was. The pool was ok, but confusing by having pools in different locations (across the road from each other). Would i go back, probably not. Sorry

I very much enjoyed my stay at the village.From even before I arrived my experience was excellent. The communication was first class. As was the accommodation! All of the staff that I had dealings with were friendly and most helpful. As special mention though to the cafe bar people. They were delightful. Always smiling… and friendly. Great service and great food too. I was there for the Wheels and Waves festival and I would definitely come back to you again . Many Thanks Kieran

Accommodation ok. Simple issues could be easily improved.ie no sharp knife in kitchen. Pathways and road down to mobile in very poor condition , for car, cycle and walkers. Frankly dangerous. Very poorly lit at night. Very poor vision coming out of difficulty turns onto main roadway through campsite frankly dangerous for children and adults.
