A new take on the seaside beach bar

The restaurant at La Capricieuse campsite was created in 2019 in partnership with Normandy interior designers Idées Fixe, and is much more than just a place to eat. In fact, it appeals to all the senses. Designed as a seaside haven, it gives off a captivating beach-bar vibe, enhanced by an abundance of vibrant greenery. Located in the heart of the campsite, it features a vast sun-kissed terrace where guests can admire an amazing view of the spectacular sunset every evening.

And, as night falls, the restaurant takes on a very festive feel. The dishes on the menu are entirely made home-made and showcase the exquisite ingredients of the Normandy terroir in traditional brasserie-style cuisine. In addition, the restaurant offers a selection of superb signature cocktails accompanied by tasty tapas. The aperitif holds great significance for us as a gesture of friendship and hospitality, giving our guests the chance to share some very special moments together. All in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Whether you come along for a sunny lunch with the family, an evening with friends or a romantic dinner, you can expect a delightful dining experience at the restaurant at La Capricieuse.

Refined cuisine

Our chef has been at the helm of the restaurant from the outset and has plenty of experience in seasonal dining venues, both in the mountains and on the coast. Having previously worked in some top-notch establishments, he has now chosen to demonstrate his repertoire at La Capricieuse. The menu prioritises simplicity, but with finesse.

Fresh produce and high-quality ingredients are of utmost importance, and our chef aspires to craft a gourmet menu infused with his personal creative touch.

You’ll find all the beloved holiday classics… burgers, meat dishes, pizzas, fish, mussels and salads. And you can try various twists on all of these delicious recipes, including some with a definite Normandy influence. A great way to explore the local flavours!

Restaurant information

The restaurant offers continuous service from 12 noon to 10 pm, in both low and high season. So you can tuck in at any time of the day, whether for breakfast from 7:30 am to 12 noon or a meal from 12 noon to 10 pm.

You can browse the menu in the Yelloh Village app. It is regularly updated throughout the season to feature the best of the season’s produce.
