First time there and really enjoyed the peace and quiet, helped by early Sept stay. Good facilities and nice walk to local ocean village and sea (around 500m). Great to use an inflatable kayak in the estuary with direct access from the site. Will definitely use again.

This is a fantastic camp site overall, friendly staff, excellent facilities and large pitches. High security presence gives you peace of mind. The pool area is lovely when it is too windy on the beach and there are plenty of activities you can involved with if you want to.

Really enjoyed our stay. Staff and accommodation is lovely. We did have an ant problem in our kitchen and the lodge got so hot sat night it was really hard to sleep so maybe some in fans or air con could help.

Positives: Room and facilities comfortable. Had a problem with one of the showers (Negative) but was dealt with and resolved swiftly by the maintenance team (very positive). WiFi available. Lots of facilities on site for both adults and kids. Could generally get a lounger around the pool except at really busy times. Negatives: Some irresponsible dog owners allowed their dogs to roam freely and leave their mess. Only 2 EV charging points but did get to use it 1 day during our 7 night stay.

Great location, amazing pool and great access to the river and beach. Restaurant, takeaway and ice cream parlour were all amazing! Good sandy pitches and toilet facilities all good. Some lack of clarity around rules about what is and isn’t permitted including BBQs, washing lines and hammocks. Defo recommend to others, we had a brilliant stay!
