You will have lots of opportunities to try some of the local black Tanche olives or the wonderfully local fruity olive oil. Will you be able to pick out the different aromas and flavours: green apple, fresh grass, hazelnut or almond? Connoisseurs take note !

And if you love old stones and architecture, the town of Nyons has some great surprises in store for you. Check out the Randonne Tower that overlooks the town, the Roman bridge that was listed as a historic monument in 1925 and that spans the river Eygues ending up in the Place des Arcades where you can relax over a glass of wine on a cool, shady terrace.

You will find more than 400 kilometres of signposted trails giving you the chance to discover the landscapes, the colours and the perfumes of the region. And for those who are not so mad about hiking or mountain biking there’s no need to panic. You’ll find lots of other sports activities to enjoy in the region: climbing, via ferrata, canyoning, horse riding, paragliding!
