There’s everything you need to stay fit, even when on holiday!

The sea and the Ebro Delta take centre stage on your holiday

The Badia dels Alfacs, where our campsite is located, is a vast bay protected by the Punta de la Banya peninsula, which is connected to the Delta via the Barra del Trabucador isthmus (a sandbank). The conditions are ideal for calm-water activities such as canoeing, pedal-boating, windsurfing, fishing, cable skiing, and so on. The region also boasts large fish and bird populations.

You can learn to stand-up paddle on the calm waters of this protected bay with an expert accredited instructor. And if you prefer to simply relax, come and enjoy the campsite’s Beach Club and its soft sand, or explore the many beaches in the area. You’ll be spoilt for choice, with spots such as Cala de Sòl de Riu, Platja del Suís, Platja de les Delícies… and more!

Landscapes to explore from every perspective

The idyllic setting of this campsite near Tarragona may tempt you to linger by the pool and enjoy the on-site activities, but it would be a shame not to get out and about now and again! So pull on a comfy pair of shoes and set off on an adventure. Explore the Ebro Delta natural park, wander past the rice fields and marshes to observe the flamingos, egrets, kingfishers and other birds. Or why not rent a bike at reception and take to the cycle paths? The landscape is reminiscent of the Camargue, but with a Catalan twist! From La Ràpita harbour, observe the “Musclera”, or mussel beds, and treat yourself to a tasting!

However, there’s more to the region than the sea and marshes. You also have the mountains of the Serra del Montsià, the perfect place to go hiking with its many trails. Take the heights to enjoy stunning views over the entire Delta. Finally, visit the emblematic castles and historic sites in the area, such as Tortosa, Peníscola and Miravet.
