A seaside campsite with swimming pools

The sea is naturally one of the main attractions at Yelloh! Village Alfacs, but the Infinity Alfay pool is another key feature, promising a different kind of aquatic experience. Thanks to its natural slope, it offers a view of the Mediterranean and the Punta de la Banya peninsula.

Your little ones can enjoy the paddling pool with water jets and aquatic games, while you grown-ups chill out in the large pool or on a sunlounger on the sand. Also worthy of note – the swimming pool benefits from saline chlorination, which is more eco-friendly.

The pièce de résistance? When you’re on the beach, you’ll notice an old fisherman’s house. This is used as a relaxation room, a remote working area by the sea, and a small library. And to top it all off, there’s also a unique seaside area where you can enjoy a massage!

Bonus: a second water park just a few short steps away!

In the Masia Serramar sports centre 200 metres from the campsite, you’ll have free access to two other swimming pools. The first, a fantastic large lap pool is ideal for practising your breaststroke or crawl over a few lengths! Meanwhile, families with children will be able to splash away to their heart’s content in the second, smaller and shallower pool.

Feeling peckish or a bit thirsty? Take a seat on the restaurant terrace overlooking the pool.

    A welcoming seaside destination

Located in Badia dels Alfacs, the campsite shares its name with this large bay; the name comes from a term meaning “sandbank” in Andalusian Arabic. Punta de la Banya, just across from the campsite, is a peninsula that naturally protects it from the waves, allowing for a more peaceful natural swimming experience.

Follow the coastline of La Ràpita and the surrounding area to discover the warm sandy shores and the family-friendly seaside atmosphere. For a wilder coast, head to Les Cases d’Alcanar 5 kilometres away, where you’ll appreciate the cliffs and sheltered coves. Finally, Platja del Trabucador is one of the longest and best-known beaches in the area. It’s 15 kilometres away but can be reached by boat from the campsite.

In the region, you won’t find any signs of overtourism, but you’ll be spoilt for choice for water activities! Diving, canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding, foilboarding, kitesurfing… all you need for a holiday packed with aquatic enjoyment!
