Pool and Water Park at camping Le Pre Catalan

    A family-friendly water park

    Come and enjoy our 500 m2 aquatic area! A swimming pool with a depth of 1.3m with integrated paddling pool and whirlpool bath, a swimming pool with a depth of 1.5m, and 4 waterslides plus a 200 m2 water playground, which people of all ages will just love! You'll be able to make the most of the fun of being in the water whatever the temperature: pools are heated from opening date.

    Dreaming of some proper relaxation? Then settle back comfortably on the 800m2 poolside area or come and cool down at the Splash bar. During July and August, you can make the most of introductory diving lessons and aquagym lessons.

    Only swimming briefs, close-fitting swimming boxers and short swimming shorts are permitted in the water park.

    Le Barcarès beach

    The campsite is just under a mile from Le Barcarès and its five miles of fine sandy beaches, which are supervised in July and August. It can be reached on foot, or it’s just a 10-minute bike ride on the greenway that runs along the Agly River, down to the wild beach at its mouth. If you prefer to take the car, there’s a large, free car park on the seafront. Good news for your four-legged friends – dogs are allowed on these beaches and at the campsite.

    Bathe in the clear waters or lie back and relax on the sand in the peaceful, family-friendly setting – just breathe in that fresh sea air!You can also visit the various shops that line the beach. And every Wednesday evening in summer, you can go along to the evening market that showcases produce from the Catalan terroir.

    Le Barcarès has been awarded the “Blue Flag” eco-label for seaside resorts and marinas that take nature and its resources into account in their tourism development strategies.
