On your programme?
Where would you like to start? A cultural visit with a touch of history? Discover the only remaining tower of the castle that was once the pride of the lords of Lesparre: the Tour d’Honneur, a listed historical monument. This imposing square keep, dating from the beginning of the 14th century, is a mediaeval site measuring some 30m in height with 5 floors that have been restored. Today it is home to a museum and an art exhibition from July until the end of September. Don’t hesitate to be accompanied by a guide when you visit, they’ll be able to recount the fascinating history of the town and the tower.
