Built directly into the limestone rockface during the 12th century, this underground church is a real architectural gem. Its 38-metre long nave is entirely below ground, making it truly one of a kind. This place of underground worship is one of the most remarkable symbols of Saint-Émilion, attracting visitors from all over the world to delve into its mysteries and discover its fascinating history.
Saint-Émilion is also a destination rich in history and activities. The town itself, with its cobbled streets, underground churches and historic monuments, takes you on a real journey through time.
