In the town and its surrounding area you can find remains of the different periods and civilisations of our era. Dolmens, menhirs, necropolises, aquaducts, Roman villas, signalling points and churches show that the Gauls, Romans and Greeks were all here, with Carolingian architectural influences and even civilisations from the Neolithic era.
