A perfect blend of heritage and modernity, with the hubbub of its harbour and the peace and quiet of its inland area. Now open your eyes: you really are in St Florent! And from here, you could let your gaze roam into the distance, where you'll be able to discern the famous desert region called Les Agriates and the wonderful beaches of the Golfe de Saint Florent.
You'll be able to start your visit to Saint Florent via the Sentier des Douaniers path, which runs along the coast, with its white sand beaches and characteristic plants and trees, before arriving at Saint Florent. You can then head for the yachting harbour, which is right in the heart of the village. The little fishing boats cohabit with large yachts here, in what is deemed to be one of the loveliest harbours of the Mediterranean. You could then plunge into the alleyways of the old town, with people playing pétanque on the Place des Ormeaux, the 17th century church and the oh-so-cool water of the fountain in Place Doria. And you'll be able to round off your walk by climbing up to the 15th century citadel which looks out over the village. From here, there is an amazing view over St Florent! You'll really enjoy your camping holiday in Saint Florent.
