Camping Leucate

L’Etang de Leucate is where people come to enjoy windsurfing and all sorts of other watersports, and is located between the Pyrénées Orientales and Aude. The lake called l'Etang de Leucate is positioned at the point where the Mediterranean, with its coastline, beaches and waves, meets les Corbières and the foothills of the Pyrenees. Here, your camping holiday will be unlike any other, where you can go sailing beneath the Massif des Corbières as well as enjoy the southern sunshine.

So why not come and try your hand at one of them, or just come and watch the exploits of some of our best kitesurfers and windsurfers at the Mondial du Vent, which takes place every summer!

And if you'd rather relax and sunbathe than take part in extreme sports, you'll also find various little sheltered inlets here as well as a huge, fine sand beach. Your deckchair awaits you!

Just a few kilometres from the coast, there is a protected inland area which is great for walks and all sorts of outdoor activities. With the Parc Naturel Régional de la Narbonnaise en Méditerranée, paths made for winemakers and shepherds, all sorts of cycle paths and plenty more, in Leucate, there are all sorts of good reasons to come and discover the countryside in this region.
