With its Vauban fort, mediaeval tower and its ramparts, history will form a major part of your campsite holiday in Seyne-les-Alpes. So stop off for a while in one of the town's squares and have a look at the old, half-timbered houses here. You'll notice that above some of the doors you can sometimes even see the date on which the houses were built, engraved into the stone. Some of them are seriously old!

There are several eco-museums in Seyne-les-Alpes too, where you'll be able to find out about things that went on in days gone by and about the traditions which shaped this region. There are reconstructed wash houses, tailors' workshops and schools here too, as well as a whole exhibition given over to the mule, the mascot of Seyne-les-Alpes!
